The Supreme Supervisory Committee of the Third Conference "Palestine, the Central Issue of the Nation" convened on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi, to review the progress of preparatory work for the conference, scheduled to be held during Ramadan.

The committee discussed the report submitted by the Preparatory Committee, which detailed efforts made in coordinating with various stakeholders, including the Al-Aqsa Support Committee, relevant ministries, and Palestinian factions.

The report highlighted the accomplishments of the conference's scientific committee in reviewing research and working papers, as well as the media committee's work in coordinating media coverage and logistical arrangements for international participants.

The Preparatory Committee reported that five countries, including Yemen, will participate in the conference, with 136 research papers submitted by 158 researchers from 29 entities, including universities, research centers, ministries, and institutions.

The Foreign Relations Committee reported on its communication with international figures who support the Palestinian cause and oppose the "Zionist occupation." Arrangements for receiving international guests are proceeding in coordination with relevant parties.

The Supreme Supervisory Committee reviewed the progress made since the second conference, including the holding of 33 scientific seminars on the Palestinian cause and "al-Aqsa Flood" battle.

The meeting emphasized the strategic importance of the conference, which has become an annual event with significant regional and international impact in supporting the Palestinian cause.

The committee expressed appreciation for the efforts of all involved in the preparatory work and stressed the importance of mobilizing and coordinating efforts with the Capital Sana'a to ensure the conference's success.

The meeting highlighted the importance of showcasing "al-Aqsa Flood" battle's role in the conflict with the "Zionist enemy" and the role of Yemen, its leadership, government, and people in supporting the battle and the people of Gaza, as well as the countries of the resistance axis.
