Dhamar governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti launched on Wednesday a field inspection campaign targeting markets and shops in the governorate to protect consumers, particularly ahead of Ramadan.
The campaign, led by the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment, aims to monitor prices, ensure the quality and validity of goods, and prevent exploitation of consumers during the holy month.
Governor Al-Bukhaiti urged traders to reduce prices, considering the difficult economic conditions, and stressed the need to prevent the circulation of expired or non-compliant goods. He commended the Office of Economy and Industry for its efforts in supervising markets and facilitating trade.
