The Capital Secretary , Dr. Hamoud Abad, today inspected the implementation of a number of service projects in Al-Sabeen and Shu'ab districts, funded by the local authority.
The Capital Secretary, along with the Undersecretary for Works and Projects, Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, inspected the restoration and asphalting works of the Presidency Street, Al-Sabeen Square and October 14 Street, which are being implemented by the General Corporation for Roads.
They also inspected the implementation of a water fountain on October 14 Street in Al-Sabeen District, as part of a community initiative to improve the capital's streets and highlight its aesthetic and civilizational appearance.
Abad, Al-Houthi and Assistant Undersecretary Engineer Abdullah Rawiya inspected the implementation of stone paving works, the basin feed channel and the construction of retaining walls in the liquid.
The Capital Secretary urged the works and projects sector and engineers to redouble efforts and speed up the completion of these works and service and development projects in a way that contributes to improving services and facilitating traffic.
