Gaza – SABA:

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), mourned its commander Mohammed Ibrahim Shahin (Abu Al-Baraa), who was martyred following a Zionist airstrike targeting a vehicle in Sidon, southern Lebanon.

In a statement released on Monday, the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that Shahin was martyred as part of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle in an assassination carried out by Zionist warplanes.

The statement highlighted Shahin's prominent role and significant contributions to the path of jihad and resistance from the Al-Aqsa Intifada to the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood battle.

It further detailed that Commander Shahin held several key positions within Al-Qassam and ultimately joined his martyred brother, the Qassam engineer Hamza Shahin, and his fellow martyrs who preceded him.

The Al-Qassam Brigades reaffirmed their unwavering commitment, stating:

"We remain steadfast in our covenant with God and our people, offering martyr after martyr across the land of Palestine and beyond, continuing the path of jihad until the Palestinian people achieve their dream of liberation and return."
