The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted medical sources on Saturday as saying that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,264, most of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Zionist occupation aggression on October 7.
The same sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 111,688 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
They indicated that 25 martyrs arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals whose bodies were recovered, and 12 injuries during the past 48 hours.
It is noteworthy that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip went into effect on January 19, and since its entry into force, a number of citizens have been martyred and injured in various parts of the Strip.
