Beirut - Saba:
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Zionist enemy's attacks on citizens who tried to enter their villages in the south of the country after the expiration of the deadline for the occupation's withdrawal, has risen to 15 martyrs and 83 wounded.
The ministry reported in a statement that 15 citizens, including a soldier, were martyred and 83 others were wounded by the occupation's fire while trying to return to their occupied towns in the south of the country, after the expiration of the 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy army from the south under the ceasefire agreement between (Tel Aviv) and Beirut.
At dawn Sunday, the 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy army that has penetrated southern Lebanon ended, under the ceasefire agreement, which entered into force on November 27, 2024, while the enemy forces continued their presence in some border areas in southern Lebanon, in a clear violation of the agreement.
Since the early hours of today, the entrances to the border villages have witnessed gatherings of hundreds of residents, who were confronted by the Zionist enemy forces with bullets while trying to return to their villages.
