Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Abdulkarim Shaiban on Saturday visited the Burns Center at the Republican Hospital Authority in the capital Sana’a to inspect the condition of individuals injured in the recent gas station explosion in al-Nasifah area in Bayda province.
The victims, totaling 59 individuals, are currently receiving treatment at the center.
During the visit, Minister Shaiban received an update from Dr. Mohammed Jahaf, the head of the Republican Hospital Authority, regarding the ongoing medical interventions for the victims.
He was briefed on the progress of their treatment and the healthcare services being provided, emphasizing the recovery efforts for those affected by the explosion.
Minister Shaiban commended the leadership of the hospital authority, the Burns Center, and its healthcare team for their dedication in delivering necessary care to the injured.
He also acknowledged the implementation of presidential directives aimed at ensuring that adequate medical attention, medicines, and supplies are available for the victims.
