Director of al-Qabaita district in Lahj province Wahid al-Khader launched on Saturday a solar-powered water pumping project for the al-Haydin area in the province.
The project, funded by the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, aims to alleviate water shortages for approximately 5,000 residents in six villages.
The project includes the installation and operation of four water tanks and is expected to significantly improve access to clean water for the local population.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the district to enhance water services for its citizens.
