The Ministry of Interior in Abkhazia announced the death of three people as a result of a shooting accident in a café in the capital Sukhumi.
The Abkhazia Interior said in a statement that the accident occurred at 14:00 in the 'Biscuit Café', when one of the café customers fired three others wounded, after a fight erupted between them, according to reports.
The statement added that the injured were transferred to the Republican Hospital, but a source in the Ministry of Health said later to the local Abstebres that all of them died in the hospital affected by their wounds.
The Ministry of Interior stated that the shooter fled the site of the accident, but the police managed to arrest him later and were investigating with him.
According to local media reports, the shooter may be an employee of the municipality of the capital.
