The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Abdul Rahman Shadid, considered the increasing attempts of the Authority to assassinate the resistance fighters in the West Bank a dangerous indicator of its intentions that "intersect with the goals of the occupation."
Shadid said in a statement today, Saturday: What happened in Tulkarm Governorate of the Authority's security forces shooting directly at a resistance vehicle "in an attempt to kill them for the second time in days, confirms that instructions were issued by officials in the Authority to liquidate and kill the resistance fighters in the West Bank."
He added: The leadership of the Authority and its security forces "have become easy to shed the blood of Palestinians, as has been happening in the Jenin camp for 38 days, during which nine citizens were killed, including women and children."
Shadid considered what the PA security services are committing as a "national and moral crime, and a violation of the sanctity of Palestinian blood", calling for a broad national movement to put an end to the killing, displacement and destruction taking place in the West Bank at the hands of the PA services. He pointed out that silence on these violations will allow the occupying entity to implement its plans to annex the West Bank, plunder the lands and pass its malicious plans against the Palestinian cause.
The shooting incident on the resistance fighters in Tulkarm comes while the PA security services have been continuing to launch a military operation in the Jenin camp since last month, under the pretext of pursuing those they called "outlaws", while the Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, the Popular Front and Islamic Jihad, accused the Palestinian security services of pursuing the resistance fighters.
