Oil minister inspects Yemeni oil company’s performance, supply situation

Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir on Saturday conducted an inspection on Saturday of the Yemeni Oil Company to review its work progress and the current supply situation of petroleum derivatives.

During his visit, Minister l-Amir met with the company’s leadership and staff, gaining insights into their operational processes, efforts, and challenges faced under the current conditions.

The meeting also covered the company's development plans aimed at enhancing services, securing petroleum derivatives, and ensuring market stability.

Al-Amir emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to maintain stable supply across all governorates and urged the company to improve its performance to adapt to ongoing developments.

He reiterated that stabilizing the supply of oil derivatives remains a top priority for the ministry and that efficiency in resource management is critical.

The Minister acknowledged the leadership and employees for their dedication and encouraged intensified efforts to address any obstacles.

Osama al-Khatib, the company’s Deputy Executive Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs, thanked the Ministry for its support and expressed the company's commitment to maintaining a high pace in fulfilling its responsibilities.
