The Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, described the aggression carried out by "Israel" and America on Yemen as "deliberate escalation."
In his speech during a session of the United Nations Security Council, according to the Russian news agency "Novosti," Nebenzia pointed out that "it is difficult to describe the actions of "Israel" and the Anglo-Saxon coalition as anything other than deliberate escalation that has led to civilian casualties in Yemen."
He added: "Regardless of whether they are retaliatory in nature, the scale of the destruction is immeasurable."
Nebenzia also noted that in light of the escalation, the Russian Federation "calls on all parties involved in the aggressive actions against Yemen to exercise restraint and refrain from escalatory steps."
The Russian Permanent Representative stressed that "it is also necessary to take measures to protect ordinary Yemenis and humanitarian workers."
