[19/ December/2024]
Hodeida - Saba:
The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, and the Governor of Hodeida, Abdullah Atifi, reviewed today the damage caused to the ports of Hodeida, Salif and Ras Issa as a result of targeting them by the Israeli aggression.

Qahim and Atifi, along with the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bashri, inspected the progress of work in the ports and their facilities and the nature of the damage to the infrastructure, equipment and machinery, including launches and bridge cranes that were targeted as a result of the criminal Zionist attacks.

They listened from the port leaders to an explanation of the overall damage caused by the bombing of the enemy entity, and the efforts made to extinguish the fires burning in the equipment and launches and contain their impact on the activity and services of the ports.

The Minister of Transport and Public Works expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, considering the repeated Zionist aggression targeting the Red Sea ports in Hodeida a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the recognized charters and protocols that criminalize the targeting of ports and civilian objects and emphasize their protection and preservation.

He stressed that the crimes of the reckless Zionist enemy will not deter the Yemeni people from their position in support of the Palestinian people, based on religious, humanitarian and moral duty in light of the shameful international and UN silence towards the comprehensive war of extermination that Gaza is being subjected to.

While the Governor of Hodeidah stressed that these crimes are living evidence of the decadence and confusion of the Zionist entity and its supporting partners, America and Britain, and their goals that are completely inconsistent with international norms and charters.

He stated that the effects of the destruction of the infrastructure of the Red Sea Corporation's ports represent an extension of the crimes and siege that the Yemeni people have been subjected to for ten years.

In turn, the Undersecretary of Human Rights, Al-Bishri, pointed out that these crimes will not be subject to a statute of limitations, and that the aggression plans will be shattered on the rock of the steadfastness of the Yemeni people who refuse injustice and will continue operations to support the Palestinian people.

The criminal Zionist entity's killing of civilians and workers in the ports of Al-Salif and Ras Issa and the destruction of the capabilities of the Yemeni people, is added to the series of crimes of the Israeli and American enemy against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.
