A meeting held on Tuesday in Ibb province, chaired by Secretary-General of the province Local Council Amin al-Wurafi, focused on preparing the project plan for the coming year, 1447 AH.
The meeting, attended by relevant office directors, discussed the mechanism for drafting the plan and reviewed proposals submitted by various districts.
The discussion also included the analysis of the province's current development and service projects, prioritizing them for the upcoming year.
The meeting included reports from Engineer Ibrahim al-Shami, Head of the Public Works Sector, and Engineer Mujahid Annan, Director of Projects, who presented a matrix for the executive plan for 1447 AH.
The attendees also reviewed the plans submitted by the Health Office and several directorates.
The group addressed the tasks needed to complete the current year’s projects and approved measures to finalize ongoing development and service projects.
It also set a deadline for districts to submit their final plans by next week.
Al-Wurafi emphasized the importance of focused efforts to complete approved projects from the current year’s plan and develop new projects according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development.
He urged the Public Works Sector and the Executive Unit to meet project deadlines and prioritize initiatives that directly serve development and meet community needs.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of involving local communities in planning and achieving sustainable development goals in the province.
