A joint cooperation agreement between the Shura Council and the Yemen Academy for Graduate Studies in the fields of education and training was signed today in the presence of Shura Council Chairman Mohammed Hussein Al- Aidarous.
The agreement, signed by Deputy Speaker Mohammed Hassan Al-Durra and President of the Yemeni Academy for Graduate Studies Dr. Ahmed Al-Shami, aimed to develop cooperation mechanisms between the two sides and benefit from the Academy's programs in honing the skills of the Council's employees to enable them to carry out the tasks assigned to them according to modern scientific and academic methods.
During the signing, which was attended by a number of members of the Council and the Chairman of the Academy's Board of Trustees, Dr. Yahya Al-Mutawakel, the Shura Council Speaker stressed that the current stage requires concerted efforts to bring about changes according to modern scientific methods in order to contribute to the advancement of construction and development.
Al-Aidarous pointed out the council's keenness to implement training programs for the council's employees and include them in the annual program plans with the aim of developing the institutional structure of the council and providing members with modern scientific methods that keep pace with the stage requirements.
For his part, Dr. Al-Shami explained that the agreement will contribute to enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides by implementing a number of workshops , training courses in scientific , administrative disciplines and strategic planning.
