Paris - Saba:
The French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday appointed François Bayrou as prime minister in place of Michal Barniea, one week after the latter was sacked following vote on confidence in the Parliament.
Asked to approve budget for 2025 and form the new government, Bayrou is facing a hard mission as no block enjoys majority in the French National Assembly.
