An Iraqi security source revealed the launch of a security operation in the Hamrin Hills that included targets in three governorates at once.
The source said in an interview with the Iraqi "Al-Maalouma" Agency: "An elite force coming from Baghdad carried out a qualitative operation to directly track down targets in the Hamrin Hills within the borders of the governorates of Diyala, Kirkuk and Salah al-Din within the geography of the Hamrin Hills."
