The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums in Yemen reported on Friday that a farmer discovered archaeological statues while working on reclaiming agricultural land in Sa'ada province.
The find occurred in al-Jatham area, located in Wadi Madhab, within al-Safra'a district. Upon uncovering the statues, the farmer promptly alerted the local security authorities, who then visited the site along with the Director of Antiquities in Sa'ada.
The discovered antiquities will be transported to the Authority in Sana'a after necessary security measures are taken, and it has been emphasized that the site should be secured to prevent further disturbance.
