Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met on Saturday with the Country Director of CARE International, Abdullah Abdi Iman.
During the meeting, Minister Amer listened to a brief report on the implementation level of the projects carried out by the organization for the year 2024 in the field of water, environmental sanitation, health, nutrition and education.
He stressed the importance of continuing to provide projects according to the need, while giving importance to long-term development projects, explaining that the ministry is working to create the appropriate climate and provide facilities related to the work of international organizations in the humanitarian and development fields, enabling them to implement projects easily and smoothly.
For his part, the Country Director of CARE International explained that the organization is committed to the rules of humanitarian work characterized by neutrality and independence.
He said that CARE International works in full coordination with government authorities according to needs, especially in the areas of greatest need.
