A ceremony was held today in Hodeida Governorate to honor Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, the former Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and former Minister of Finance. The leadership of the Fifth Military Region and the local authorities of Hodeida, Hajjah, and Raymah governorates organized the event.
During the ceremony, Dr. Abu Lahoum was presented with numerous certificates and awards from various institutions, including the Fifth Military Region Command, the local authorities of the three governorates, the Hodeida Support and Development Fund, Al-Thawra Hospital Authority, Hodeida University, and the Finance Office. These accolades were in recognition of his efforts and contributions during his tenure from 2019 to 2024.
Dr. Abu Lahoum expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized Yemen's resilience in the face of ongoing aggression and blockade. He highlighted achievements in development, particularly in the western coastal governorates. He also praised the revolution's leadership, the Yemeni army, and the people for their steadfastness and support for just causes.
