The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, issued a statement in which he addressed the dear youth of the Resistance Front. He praised the personality of the head of Hezbollah's Executive Council in Lebanon, Sayyed Hashim Safieddine (may God have mercy on him).
In his statement, Sayyed Khamenei stressed that Hezbollah remains today the strongest defender of Lebanon, the hardest shield against the ambitions of the Zionist entity, which has long sought to dismantle Lebanon.

In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Dear youth of the Resistance Front.
His Eminence Sayyid Hashim Safieddine (may God have mercy on him) has joined the ranks of the martyrs of the resistance, and the sky of jihad for the sake of Al-Quds Al-Sharif has been adorned with a new bright star. His Eminence was one of the most prominent figures in Hezbollah and was the constant companion and supporter of His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Thanks to the wisdom and courage of leaders like His Eminence, Hezbollah was able to save Lebanon from the threat of partition and collapse again, and to thwart the threat of the usurping entity whose brutal and unjust army was trampling the land, sometimes as far as Beirut. His Eminence's magnanimity and sacrifice, along with other leaders and mujahideen in the Nasrallah axis, removed the threat of the usurpation and occupation of South Litani, Tyre, and other cities in that region, and annexed it to the usurped and occupied Palestine, and made the lives, property, and valuable reputation of Hezbollah battle for the preservation of the sovereignty of that country's territory, and foiled the Zionist aggressor and criminal entity.
Although it appears today that leaders such as Nasrallah and Safieddine are absent from this renaissance, their spirits and leadership are still present in the field, defending Lebanon and its defenceless people.
Today, Hezbollah remains the strongest defender of Lebanon and the strongest shield against the ambitions of the Zionist entity, which has long sought to divide Lebanon.
The enemy is trying to deny Hezbollah's redemptive role for Lebanon, but those who care must not allow these false statements to reach their ears.
Hezbollah is alive and growing, fulfilling its historic role, and the Islamic Republic will continue, as always, to support the mujahideen of Jerusalem and the resistance against the occupation of the criminal gang that usurps Palestine, God willing.
I extend my congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of our dear master Safieddine to his honourable family, relatives and comrades of his struggle in all fronts of resistance.
