Yali Language Institute hosts event celebrating Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary

SANA'A - SABA: Yali Language Institute organized on Saturday a significant event in Sana'a to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him and his family.

The event featured a series of speeches and activities reflecting on the Prophet’s life and teachings.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute and Head of the National Center for Capacity Building and Decision Support Dr. Yahya al-Mahqeri emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet’s birth.

Al-Mahaqeri highlighted how the Prophet’s biography serves as a guiding light in countering the soft war against society, particularly targeting the youth.

Dr. al-Mahqeri urged the audience to uphold Islamic values and principles, emphasizing the need to adhere to the Prophet’s teachings in preserving national dignity and combating external threats.

Institute’s Director Dr. Abdullah al-Ghurbani reiterated that celebrating the Prophet’s birth is a way to embody his teachings in both words and actions.

Cultural activist Ahmed Dahan noted Yemen’s historical support for the Prophet and emphasized the special connection Yemenis feel towards him, which fuels their enthusiastic celebration of this occasion.

He called for a grand and respectful event in Al-Sab'een Square, aligning with the Prophet’s esteemed legacy.

The event also included a speech by Ahmed al-Wajeeh, a student at the institute, delivered in English.

He praised the Institute’s leadership for enhancing students’ faith awareness and developing their linguistic and cognitive skills.

The ceremony featured hymns celebrating the virtues of the Prophet Muhammad, reflecting the deep reverence and commitment of the Yemeni people to his legacy.
