The Supreme Political Council member, along with the Deputy Prosecutor of Prisons, Judge Ismail Al-Faqih, Director of the Zakat Commission office in Taiz, Shawqi Al-Mughlas, Director of the province's security director, Brigadier General Ahmed Madas, and Director of the Central Correctional Facility, Ahmed Mahmoud, listened to an explanation about the conditions of inmates , the health level and living care provided to them in the reformatories.
Al-Sami'i emphasized the inspecting importance the conditions of inmates and working to provide their needs, especially the requirements of health care and treatment.
He pointed out that coordination has been made with a hospital in the province to conduct the necessary tests and surgical interventions at the Zakat Commission office expense in Taiz, which provides care and support to the inmates.
The Zakat Commission's office director in the province explained that the organization will continue to implement projects to improve the health status of inmates who deserve attention and care.
He pointed out that a visit was made to the juvenile home in Al-Salah district to distribute foodstuffs to the inmates, stressing that the visits come within the charity projects implemented by the Zakat Commission with more than 10 billion riyals to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday 1446 AH.
