IBB - Saba: Every year, the Yemeni people celebrate the anniversary of the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his supporters, this great occasion that is dedicated to strengthening love, affiliation and loyalty to the Great Messenger, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his supporters, whom Allah sent as a guide to the worlds and a beacon of truth and justice.
In Ibb Governorate, joy prevails in every corner and corner, and the manifestations of celebration are evident in the decoration of the streets, in the holding of events that highlight the biography and morals of the Prophet, and in the gathering of people of all ages in an atmosphere conveying the fragrance of history and memories of the ancestors who celebrated the Birth of the Prophet. This reflects the deep connection between Yemen and the Noble Prophet since the two Yemeni tribes of Aws and Khazraj supported him, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
Celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet Birth is an embodiment of that connection and a reinforcement of the values and principles that he brought to the souls of generations.
The celebrations in Ibb are diverse, as religious and cultural events, seminars and lectures are held to shed light on the biography of the Prophet, in addition to organizing sports and cultural activities that enhance the spirit of affiliation and loyalty.
Cleaning campaigns are also implemented, homes, facilities and streets are decorated, light panels are installed and squares are prepared to receive the guests of the Noble Prophet on the anniversary of his Birth, which reflects the warmth and joy of welcoming this great occasion.
These preparations express pride and honor in the status of the Noble Prophet in the hearts of the people of the governorate and the role of the Muhammad's Message in bringing people out of slavery to the spaciousness of Islam, and urge people to follow the example of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his supporters, and to follow his morals and principles, as a way to build a strong, unified nation.
"The anniversary of the Birth of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his supporters, is a great occasion that embodies the values of mercy and tolerance, and expresses his great status in the hearts of the people of Yemen," Ibb Governor said, noting that the Prophet, who was sent as a guide to the worlds, represents a symbol of love and unity, and celebrating his Birth is an embodiment of loyalty to him.
"Allah sent his noble Messenger to lead us out of the darkness of ignorance and division into the light of faith and unity," Governor Abdul Wahid Salah added.
"We are honored to be part of this noble message, and we must express our love and gratitude to him through activities that highlight the values and morals of the Prophet."
Governor Salah referred to the early preparations that were implemented to celebrate this great occasion, as a comprehensive plan was put in place and included the formation of field committees to supervise the implementation of the program to celebrate the Birth.
The committees worked hard and diligently to ensure that the celebrations are meaningful, reflecting the status of the Prophet in the conscience of the people of Ibb.
The governor called on all the people of the province to interact and participate widely in the celebrations that will be held on the twelfth of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the designated squares to show love and pride in the birth of light and radiance, and to make this occasion an opportunity to strengthen ties and express human and religious values.
Ibb governor stated that the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday is an embodiment of the unity of the nation and loyalty to the lofty message of Islam, and an opportunity to renew the covenant with the values and noble morals of the Prophet. He added that, on this occasion, a package of service and development projects would be inaugurated and foundation stone would be laid for others to serve the people of the governorate.
For his part, the general mobilization officer in the governorate, Judge Abdul Fattah Ghallab, said that commemorating the Birth of humanity Prophet and the final Messenger is a celebration of the values of mercy and love that he called for, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his supporters, and an expression of loyalty and pride in his lofty message.
"This occasion represents an opportunity to enhance the principles and morals of the Prophet, and to follow the values of mercy and tolerance," he added. "It is an embodiment of unity and solidarity and a call to renew social ties and strengthen cohesion between the people of the homeland and the governorate."
He stated that the central square has been expanded and prepared to receive the Prophet's guests participating in the major event that will be held next Sunday with a large and unparalleled public presence and momentum befitting the status of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his supporters.
He called on all the people of the province to participate actively in these celebrations, to show the whole world our love and pride in the birth of light and radiance, to make this occasion an opportunity to enhance our human and religious values, and to renew the covenant with the Prophet whom Allah sent as a mercy to the worlds.
Ibb University rector, Dr. Nasr al-Hojaili, stated that commemorating the birth of the creation's Master is an expression of loyalty to the great Prophet who was sent as guidance to the worlds. The rector added that Ibb University organized and hosted a number of events, seminars and activities that aimed to shed light to the biography of the Prophet, his morals and various aspects of his life to guide the nation.
He stressed the importance of instilling the values of the Prophet in the souls of new generations, and enhancing the spirit of affiliation and loyalty in their hearts to Muhammad's message.
Officer of the cultural sector in the province, Abdul Hakim Muqbil, hailed the day of the Prophet Birth as "an important historical moment in the hearts of Muslims. We celebrate the Birth of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his supporters and grant them peace, who was a symbol of mercy and tolerance, and it is an opportunity to renew faith and strengthen social ties."
For his part, deputy director of the Endowments Office, Saddam Al-Amaisi, said this occasion is a reminder of the virtuous morals brought by the Noble Prophet and the work to spread values and establish them in the hearts and conscience of the nation.
