Sa'ada province concluded on Thursday a training course on the financial and accounting information system "AFMIS" - the first phase.
The course, which was organized by the Finance Office over ten days, aimed to qualify 40 trainees from the employees of the Finance Office and its branches in the executive offices, the province center , the accounting units in 17 districts on the financial and accounting information system.
At the course conclusion, Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Baadani stressed the importance of qualifying financial cadres and enabling them to deal with the financial and accounting system, which represents a step in the direction of automating financial , accounting work , enhancing the role of control, transparency and good governance.
For his part, the Finance Office Director in the province, Ahmed Rajeh, explained that the course came within the framework of the state's directions to complete the automated work, which contributes effectively to enable the managers of finance branches and their accounting units to move to automated work through the systems prepared by the specialists at the Finance Ministry.
For their part, members of the committee assigned by the Executive Unit for Information and Systems at the Finance Ministry reviewed the ministry's efforts in coordination with the local authority to implement financial and accounting systems, which comes within the strategy of the national vision to improve financial and administrative performance.
They pointed out the services provided by the system in the flow of financial data, which achieves the strategic objectives of the system to help decision makers in data analysis, forecasting and financial planning.
