TULKARM - SABA: Two Palestinian citizens were killed on Wednesday evening when a vehicle was targeted and bombed by drones in the Aktaba suburb, located east of Tulkarm city in the occupied West Bank.

According to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa," the drone strike on a vehicle in Masoud Estate ignited a severe fire.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that the bodies of the two victims were retrieved from the vehicle.

Their identities have not yet been released. This incident raises the death toll in the West Bank since August 28 to 49, with casualties reported across Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, Hebron, and Nablus areas.

Occupation forces have continued their aggressive operations in Tulkarm and its camp for the second consecutive day, resulting in extensive damage to civilian infrastructure and property.

WAFA reports that these forces are maintaining a siege on Tulkarm camp, deploying heavy machinery and bulldozers to demolish streets and alleys within the camp.

Additionally, Israeli forces have been patrolling the camp's neighborhoods, including al-Nadi, al-Shuhada, and al-Balawneh, conducting house raids and turning many homes into military posts.

The military action has forced many residents to evacuate, with numerous homes seized, burned, or demolished.

Increased military presence has been noted at Tulkarm camp's entrances, particularly on Nablus Street, where Israeli forces have set up machinery and blocked vehicle and pedestrian movement.

Several arrests have been made following home raids, though the exact number and fate of those detained remain unclear.

The siege has also severely impacted the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, with Israeli forces obstructing ambulance services and patient access while conducting field interrogations.
