TEHRAN - SABA : The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned some items in the final statement of the 161st meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, describing them as "repetitive, unconstructive, and unproductive."
Spokesperson for the ministry said the three Iranian islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, and Lesser Tunb are an inseparable and eternal part of the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The spokesperson also rejected Kuwait's unilateral claims regarding the Arash field, stating that the issuance of repeated statements and the presentation of unilateral claims lack legal value and do not establish a right for the Kuwaiti side.
The spokesperson also emphasized the importance of regional cooperation to ensure collective security and rejected foreign military presence in the region.
