HAGUE September 07. 2024 (Saba) - Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Friday said he is under pressures from leaders of some countries to not issue arrest warrants against the Zionist prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his war minister. Yoav Gallant.
The ICC Prosecutor studied evidences on which the decision was based to issue warrants, Kareem Khan told BBC, in response to critics.
The ICC should demand arrest warrants against all the leaders of Israel and Hamas, he added, to make sure that people all around the World see the Court applying the law equally on the basis of common standard.
Countries supported by NATO, European or powerful states should not be dealt with in a way different from those unsupported countries, he argued.
