JERICHO September 06. 2024 (Saba) – Zionist settlers forcibly took over an abandoned house and converted it into a new colonial outpost in the Ras Ein al-Auja Bedouin community, situated north of Jericho.
According to a report by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa," Hassan Malihat, General Supervisor of "al-Baidar" Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, confirmed that approximately three settlers occupied the vacant house.
They have set up a new settlement by bringing in a flock of sheep, establishing a pen, and installing a water tank nearby.
Malihat noted that the settler responsible for this new outpost resides in a nearby colonial settlement west of Ras al-Ain and has a history of numerous attacks on local residents.
