BAGHDAD September 04. 2024 (Saba)- Iraqi forces on Wednesday arrested an ISIS terrorist in Karbala province in the south of the country.
The Iraqi news agency Wa quoted the intelligence agency as saying in a statement: "The Counter-Terrorism Service, in coordination with the National Intelligence Service in Karbala province, and based on accurate intelligence information, carried out a quality operation that resulted in the arrest of an ISIS terrorist."
The statement explained that "the accused is responsible for the war science platform on the organization's social media sites, and publishes lectures and lessons on making explosive devices and belts and carrying out terrorist attacks."
Iraqi forces continue to pursue ISIS remnants in a number of areas, which has resulted in the elimination and arrest of a large number of them.
