ALKHALEEL September 03. 2024 (Saba) - Thousands of settlers, protected by the forces of the Zionist enemy, stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque late on Monday and performed provocative Talmudic rituals after closing it to Palestinian citizens.
The director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, Moataz Abu snina, told the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that thousands of settlers stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque and held a concert in its courtyards, under strict protection by the occupation forces, interspersed with "Talmudic" dances, while the occupation imposed strict military measures in the vicinity of the sanctuary and the old town of the city to secure the colonial celebrations.
He noted that the settlers introduced musical instruments and loudspeakers and organized a concert in flagrant violation of the houses of worship.
Abu Snina pointed out that these practices and violations fall within the framework of the exchange of roles with the settlers, as the occupation forces allowed their settlers to introduce musical instruments and loudspeakers as part of imposing their full control over the campus and its surroundings, at a time when citizens are not allowed to enter the necessary requirements of the campus for maintenance and restoration.
He labeled what the occupier is doing as a flagrant violation of the houses of worship and the privacy of Muslims, which should be curbed by flocking to the Haram, and the status of ambassadors, consuls, and all human rights and humanitarian associations in the world in the form of what is happening inside and around the flagrant violations and assaults.
Abu Snina explained that what the occupation wants through the ongoing Judaization operations, including broadcasting images of settlers dancing inside and outside it with comfort and tranquility, is to reach the stage of displacing Palestinian citizens from the places it wants to control in Alkhaleel, especially according to a systematic plan implemented by the occupation government.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation authorities reopened the Ibrahimi Mosque to citizens after closing it until late last night.
