LONDON September 02. 2024 (Saba) – Britain announced on Monday a partial suspension of 30 out of 350 arms export licenses to the Zionist entity, following concerns about their use in the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy informed Parliament that the suspension targets equipment potentially used in the Gaza conflict but excludes components for F-35 fighter jets.
This move comes in response to a resolution by the United Nations Human Rights Council in April, which called for a halt to arms sales to the Zionist entity amid warnings of potential "genocide" against Palestinians.
