OCCUPIED QUDS September 02. 2024 (Saba) - A general strike has spread throughout all aspects of life in the Palestinian territories occupied by the Zionist enemy, at the invitation of the Histadrut Labor Union, to pressure Netanyahu's government to conclude a swap deal.
According to the Palestinian News Agency, the strike, which included commercial, economic, health, educational, public transportation, government ministries, and Ben Gurion Airport, comes in the wake of massive demonstrations in which tens of thousands of Israelis participated last night to demand the conclusion of the deal.
In an attempt to prevent this strike, extremist Finance Minister Smotrich wrote to the Israeli government's legal advisor, Gali Baharav-Miara, asking her to submit an urgent request to the Labor Court to obtain a court order to prevent the strike.
Smotrich claimed that the strike would harm the economy, and that it had no legal basis, because its main goal was to influence important government decision
