OREGON September 01. 2024 (Saba) - Local authorities in the US state of Oregon have declared the loss of at least three people in a light plane that fell into a residential neighborhood in the state.
ABC News quoted local authorities today as saying that a small twin-engine plane crashed into a residential neighborhood in Oregon... According to initial information, at least three people were missing.
It stated that the plane initially collided with a power line pole, then with a residential building, which led to a fire that spread to four buildings.
For his part, Scott Lewis, Chief of the Gresham City Fire Department, said that there were two people on board the plane, adding that the third missing person is a resident of the building.
Lewis indicated that five families were transferred from the stricken building to a safe place.
