Senegalese PM: Netanyahu ready to walk over thousands of bodies to remain prime minister
[01/ September/2024]
DAKAR September 01. 2024 (Saba) - The Senegalese prime minister Ousmane Sonko on Saturday attacked the head of the government of the Zionist enemy, saying that he depends on the war he is waging on the Gaza Strip for the survival of his power, and he is ready to walk over thousands of corpses to remain prime minister and not to face the justice of his country.

During a rally of hundreds in support of the Palestinians at the Grand Mosque in Dakar, the Senegalese prime minister called for the isolation of Israel to put an end to this "barbarism" supported by some Western countries".
Putting a scarf in the colors of the Palestinian flag around his neck, he added, "We must gather all those who denounce this injustice and work for a political solution, which is the isolation of Israel, the (solution to) political isolation."

The Senegalese prime minister stressed that it was a question of “putting an end to this barbarism, which has been ratified and supported by Western countries".

He described the ongoing Israeli operations in the Palestinian territories as "genocide", speaking about the "injustice" suffered by the Palestinians since the establishment of the occupying state in 1948.

Sonko spoke of "many divisions" that prevent Muslims and Africans from "speaking with one voice" in the face of the crisis.

Since October 7, the Israeli occupation has continued a bloody war on the besieged and isolated Gaza Strip from the outside world, which has led to the death of more than 40 thousand Palestinians and the injury of about 100 thousand, most of them women and children, as well as the near-total destruction of civilian infrastructure and the homes of unarmed civilians.

Following the crimes and massacres committed by the occupation, South Africa filed a genocide lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice and later joined the lawsuit, which was supported by other countries, including Turkey.

Despite the court's decision to oblige "Israel" to take measures to protect civilians, it continued massacres, starving the civilian population, displacing them again and again, and bombing the limited displacement centers to which they took refuge.
