Damascus: Zionist enemy's escalation against West Bank is further proof of its intention to liquidate Palestinians
[31/ August/2024]
DAMASCUS August 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Syrian Foreign Ministry emphasized on Saturday that the escalation of Zionist massacres in the occupied West Bank represents "further proof of the enemy's intentions to liquidate the Palestinians, whether in the West Bank or Gaza Strip, in order to achieve its false historical illusions."

In a statement, the ministry emphasized that the support the occupation entity receives from the United States and other Western countries proves that the enemy's claims about not expanding military operations and stopping extermination policies are "just empty words that do not stand up to the reality of what Zionist racism is doing on the ground."

The Syrian Foreign Ministry expressed its "strong condemnation of these policies and the crimes of extermination committed by the occupation, with the support of American and Western colonialism."

The Syrian Foreign Ministry called for "an immediate halt to these policies, as they constitute a clear-cut prelude to the new world that Western countries are seeking to draw."

In the same context, the ministry called on the countries of the world, which believe in the sovereignty of states and their legitimate rights, to "stand in front of these policies and aggressions that threaten all parts of the world, at various levels, politically, legally and economically."

It recalled that Damascus had previously warned all countries of the world that the occupation entity "will sooner or later move to commit massacres in the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds, similar to those it commits in Gaza Strip."

The Syrian Foreign Ministry's statement comes as the Zionist enemy continues its aggression on the northern West Bank since last Wednesday, amid resistance from various Palestinian resistance factions, as part of the "Terror of the Camps" battle.
