SANA'A August 31. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a, chaired by the Director General of Traffic Police, Brigadier General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, discussed on Saturday the traffic plan to organize traffic during the celebration of the Prophet's Birthday in 1446 AH.
The meeting, which included the leadership of the General Directorate of Traffic of the Sana'a Municipality and Sana'a Province, discussed ways to prepare for the celebration of this solemn religious occasion, preparations to receive the Prophet's Birthday appropriately and provide guidance to road users and sensitize them to adhere to the traffic lines to the venue of the event and parking lots.
The meeting approved the formation of an operations room from the traffic police to follow up and implement the tasks and plans of the event in the secretariat and branches, declare a state of alert in the field, prepare mechanisms , equipment to organize traffic, and educate citizens to abide by the traffic lines and broadcast them through radio, media and social media.
The Director General of Traffic Police emphasized the importance of everyone assuming responsibility and working in a team spirit to ensure the implementation of the plan collectively and improve the traffic performance level in the Municipality and the provinces.
He emphasized the need to prepare well for Prophet's Birthday , as befits this great religious occasion, and to renew loyalty and love for the Holy Prophet, adhere to his approach, and emulate his glorious biography, principles, great morals, and flags of guidance.
The Director General of the Traffic Police also emphasized the need to provide a distinguished and optimal model in serving the community, facilitating traffic and reducing traffic jams.
He urged to avoid negatives, raise awareness, deal positively with citizens, and evaluate and measure the impact of performance in the field.
