
HEBRON August 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Ministry of Health on Saturday declared the martyrdom of citizens Muhammad Ihsan Yaqin Marqa and Zahdi Nidal Abu Afifa, by bullets of the Zionist enemy forces north of Hebron last night.
The ministry stated, in a brief statement, that it was informed by the General Authority for Civil Affairs of the martyrdom of citizens Marqa and Abu Afifa, and that the occupation detained their bodies.
For its part, security sources stated that the two young men Marqa and Abu Afifa were martyred near the settlements of "Karmei Tzur" and "Etzion" built on citizens' lands north of Hebron, adding that the occupation forces raided their homes at dawn today, and conducted field investigations with their families.
With the martyrdom of citizens Marqa and Abu Afifa, the death toll in the West Bank since October 7, 2023 has risen to 675 martyrs.
A child citizen was also injured, this Saturday afternoon, by Israeli occupation forces' bullets, in the city of Jenin.
The Red Crescent Society said that its crews are dealing with a live bullet injury in the thigh, and he is being transferred to the hospital.
The society added that its crews in Jenin transferred a child who was injured by live bullets in the head to the hospital.
In the town of Beit Rima, north of Ramallah, a young man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets on Saturday.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the town, which led to the outbreak of clashes, during which the soldiers fired live bullets, which resulted in a young man (34 years old) being injured by a bullet fragment in the foot, and he was subsequently transferred to the hospital.
