RAMALLAH August 31. 2024 (Saba) - The number of Palestinian detainees in the occupied West Bank has risen to 10,300 since October 7, following the arrest of at least 22 citizens by the Zionist enemy on Friday and Saturday, including a journalist, a woman, children and former prisoners.
The Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Prisoners Club explained that the number of detainees since the start of the military operation announced by the occupation in the northern West Bank last Wednesday has risen to about 70 detainees, and this data includes the cases that have been confirmed with the continuation of the occupation's aggression in the Jenin Governorate, and the storming of various areas in the West Bank.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces have arrested more than ten thousand and 300 citizens from the West Bank, including Quds, since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent fixed policies, which have escalated in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination, not only in terms of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes they commit.
