MARIB August 29. 2024 (Saba) - The local authority in Jabal Murad District in Marib Province carried out rock removal works and opened the main "Naja" road of the district, after it was damaged by torrential rains.
The director of Jabal Murad District, Mohammed Miftah, explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that field teams began work to treat the damage caused by the floods on the public road, based on the governor's directives, and in cooperation with the Zakat Authority branch.
He pointed out that the teams removed the waste and opened the roads that were cut off in the directorate due to falling rocks and landslides.
Miftah stressed the continuation of emergency work to address and avoid flood damage, facilitate traffic, and protect property, according to the work plan.
