
RAYMAH August 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of Raymah Governorate, Muhammad Murad, was briefed on Thursday on the extent of the damage caused to the roads in the Bani Al-Dhubaibi area of Al-Jabin district, as a result of heavy rains and torrential rains.
During the visit, Undersecretary Murad inspected the damage caused to the road linking the provincial capital Al-Jabin, Bani Al-Dhubaibi, Al-Dhahl Bani Abdul Wasa, and Al-Baqa'a Al-Wadi due to the falling rocks that caused road blockages.
Undersecretary Murad was directed to quickly open the main and secondary roads affected by the governorate's directorates and assess the damage caused by the torrential rains.
Several roads in various districts have witnessed rockslides and need urgent intervention to reopen them to ease the movement of citizens, he said.
The deputy governor stressed that the governorate's leadership will do its best to provide assistance within the framework of its interests in alleviating the suffering of citizens in various fields, foremost of which is the opening of roads to facilitate their movement.
