TULKARM August 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist forces on Thursday set fire to a number of citizens' houses in the Noor Shams camp east of Tulkarm, leaving widespread destruction in infrastructure and property as the aggression continues for the second day in a row.
According to the Palestinian Media Center, the head of the Popular Committee for the Services of Nur Shams camp, Nihad al-Shawish, said that the humanitarian situation in the camp is very difficult, as the enemy forces burned the signs in the Manshiya neighborhood and blew up a number of citizens' houses, causing them to catch fire completely, displacing its residents and resulting in cases of suffocation among children and women.
The enemy forces persistently deny Civil Defense and ambulance crews access to the camp, and allowed only for the body of Martyr Ayed Mahmoud Nimr Abu Al-Haija (62) to be transferred to hospital, al-Shawish added, as the old man was martyred last night by enemy snipers inside his house.
The enemy forces continue to raid the homes of citizens and their commercial establishments after removing and blowing up their doors and searching them.
The storming caused the water outage from the camp after the destruction of the main water line, in addition to the destruction of the infrastructure of the streets, especially Nablus Street adjacent to the entrances of the camp, and its houses and shops.
The enemy forces continue to arrest, abuse dozens of young men and take them to interrogation center set up in the yard of one of the commercial establishments near the camp.
