HODEIDA August 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of Hodeidah Governorate for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, inspected on Thursday, the emergency work to address flood damage in rural areas in Al-Hali District.
He and the Deputy Director of Security of the Governorate, Colonel Mutahhar Al-Shara'i, reviewed the efforts of the assigned work teams to level the flood path and open a number of damaged roads in the villages of Al-Makhlaf in Al-Sail District.
The Undersecretary of the Governorate stressed the importance of doubling efforts to implement preventive measures and provide the necessary protection for roads and flood path sites to drain rainwater towards agricultural lands to reduce losses and damages resulting from the flow of floods.
