MOSCOW August 29. 2024 (Saba) - Russian Defense Ministry reported that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed six Ukrainian drones targeting Crimea, as well as Bryansk and Belgorod provinces in southwestern Russia.
According to the statement, three of the drones were shot down over Crimea, two over Bryansk province, and one over Belgorod province during the previous night.
This incident occurs amid the ongoing conflict, which began with Russia's special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
The operation shows no signs of concluding, as Moscow has reiterated its intention to continue until all its objectives are met.
