GAZA August 28. 2024 (Saba) - Izzat al-Rishq, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, has dubbed statements of the Zionist terrorist Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz, in which he called for same dealing with the West Bank as in Gaza, as a fascist call to expand the circle of destruction, genocide and ethnic cleansing against Palestinian citizens.
Al-Rishq added in a press statement on Wednesday that Katz's statements are a Zionist persistence in violating international laws, and a clear expression of the immunity enjoyed by Zionist terrorist leaders from accountability and punishment for their crimes against humanity.
He called on the international community and the United Nations to immediately lift the protection provided by the US administration to Zionist war criminals, and to take measures to bring Katz, Netanyahu and the cronies of this extremist government and the leaders of its terrorist army before the International Criminal Court to hold them accountable for the crimes of terrorism and genocide committed against our defenseless Palestinian people.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz said the occupation must deal with the West Bank "just as we deal with infrastructure in Gaza, including the temporary evacuation of residents and any steps that may be required."
In this context, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that "an orderly evacuation of the Palestinian civilian population is likely to be carried out according to the expected fighting centers" during the military operation.
