OCCUPIED AL-QUDS August 27. 2024 (Saba) - Occupation authorities on Tuesday demolished a house in the town of Silwan located south of al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday.
According to local sources reported by Palestine Today News Agency, municipal crews from the occupation authorities, accompanied by police, entered the Al-Bustan neighborhood with demolition equipment and proceeded to tear down the home of Younis Odeh.
The demolition was carried out under the pretext of an unauthorized construction permit.
Al-Quds governorate reported that the demolitions conducted this month have matched the total number of demolitions in the city for the first half of 2024.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission noted that there have been 243 demolition operations in the West Bank and Jerusalem so far this year.
