CAIRO August 27. 2024 (Saba) – The 35th Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has firmly rejected any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land, affirming their right to self-determination.

The conference reiterated that the only equitable solution is the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East al-Quds as its capital.

Held over two days in Cairo under the theme "The Role of Women in Building Awareness," the conference concluded with a strong endorsement of the resilience of the Palestinian people amidst ongoing aggression, blockade, and violence.

The event, attended by over 100 prominent figures, including ministers, muftis, and representatives from Islamic organizations and institutions worldwide, emphasized the need for enhanced programs in religious institutions to educate and empower women.

The conference also called for coordinated efforts to share experiences and expertise among participating countries to improve women's roles and opportunities across different sectors.
