
SANA'A August 26. 2024 (Saba) - Finance Minister Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Mohammed visited the first Yemen's Khairat Festival "for pomegranates, apples, grapes and dates" organized by the Capital Secretariat represented by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in coordination with relevant authorities.
The Minister, accompanied by the Finance Undersecretaries for the Economic Units Sector Ministry Dr. Akram Al-Washli, Revenues Ali Al-Shamhi, Financial and Administrative Affairs Jameel Al-Duais, and Undersecretary of the Customs Authority Adnan Al-Ghafari, toured the festival's pavilions, which will last for a week with the participation of many agricultural associations, producers, marketers, exporters, small farmers, as well as the productive families pavilion.
Minister Abdul-Jabbar pointed out that interest in the agricultural sector is a priority for the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who stresses the need to harness all capabilities to create an agricultural revolution on the path to achieving self-sufficiency.
He stressed that the Finance Ministry will spare no effort in participating in the success of this trend according to the role assigned to it and within the framework of its tasks and competencies in the government of change and construction.
