SANA'A August 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Youth and Sports Office in Hodeida Governorate inaugurated on Monday the events and activities of the Prophet's Birthday, which coincides with the commemoration of the occasion with the participation of sports federations and popular teams in the governorate, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the local authority in the governorate.
The inauguration event came in an opening match between the teams of Al-Hawak and Al-Mina districts with Al-Hali district team counterpart in the tournament organized by the Sports for All Federation with the participation of more than 85 sports teams.
Al-Hali district team was crowned with the opening cup after winning a goal for nothing in a competitive meeting that brought them together, this afternoon, at Al-Olofi Sports Stadium.
The combat games championships will be held during the coming period, with the participation of six sports federations, representing clubs in the city of Hodeida, and some sports championships at the level of the governorate's directorates.
