IBB August 26. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting of public and private universities in Ibb Province approved on Monday the establishment of a coordination council for public and private universities, colleges and institutes to ensure integration and efforts coordination, visions unification and actions between them.
At the meeting, which was held at Ibb University, in the presence of the province's General Mobilization Officer, Abdul Fattah Ghallab, and universities and institutes representatives, Ibb President University, Dr. Nasr Al-Hajili, was nominated as the head of this council, with membership from the presidents of public and private universities, and the head of the student forum as rapporteur.
The meeting reviewed the universities and institutes plan to commemorate the Prophet's birth , which was circulated by the Education and Scientific Research Ministry .
Ibb University President and the official in charge of general mobilization stressed the importance of universities and institutes being a model in commemorating the Prophet's birth , noting the tasks assigned to universities in the central public event on the twelfth of Rabi` al-Awwal.
They stressed the need to hold activities and events that express joy and happiness on this occasion, and to coordinate with the media side to keep pace with these activities and events.
